Orchard Park, NY — IntelliSensing LLC has introduced its PressureSensorTwo™ (PS2) wireless pressure sensor specifically designed for oilfield applications. Constructed out of 316L Stainless Steel, the PS2 is designed to deal with harsh conditions and is ideal for industrial use where precise pressure measurements are needed without running wires or cables.

Measuring about 18 centimeters wide and 25 centimeters high, the PS2 is a completely self-contained wireless pressure sensor using the latest ZigBee technology. Highly accurate pressure measurements up to 10,000 psi are transmitted wirelessly to a suitable base station and passed to a host system such as a PC or PLC. The internal battery powers the sensor for the entire calibration period of one year.

The PS2 boasts a Weco hammer union, an isolated pressure port, and a large high-contrast LCD display that uses no battery power to display readings.
